Just Another Life ; Chapter 2

We were walking in Santa Monica Pier  “how do you know my mom” I asked curiously “she is my moms friend” “owh” it was silent as we were walking “may I know why did you ask me to walk” I asked in the most polite way I could “because” “because?” “I wanted to” I stayed quite I didn’t know what to say and I wanted to break the awkwardness in any way, “so is that your friend the one who was sitting beside you” “yea, you think he is cute” “no” “are you sure” “yess I am is this why you wanted to walk” I said angrily “no, I was just curious” “god” “what” “nothing” we kept walking till we arrived to the rides “lets ride the roller coaster” he said “no its fine” “are you scared” “no” I replied when I was, I am terrified of roller coaster how can somebody ride it, it can break in any second but I wasn't going to admit that to him no way no matter what “then we will ride” we were standing in the queue I could feel my stomach going in knots I was terrified even if the ride was small I was praying that something will happen to it before it was our turn I prayed and prayed until it was our turn “you look terrified” I heard him say “well I am not” I replied hopping that I sounded some what confident it went up with the fear it kept turning going down I didn’t realize that I was holding his hand the whole time until the ride stopped I quickly let go “I liked it” he said what was he referring to, did he mean the ride or me holding his hand “I knew you were scared this game is boring you should visit six flags” “I did and I will never go there again” “it fine Ill take you and Ill let you hold my hand again” he said with a smirk “no its fine” that’s all I managed to say I knew I should have never went to walk with him what did I get myself into “we should go back” “no we don’t have to go back we can walk” we sat on a bench and did  my favorite thing ever we were making fun of people and I hate to admit this I really do but it was fun, as we were walking back “about my sister its just something she does so that she can get peoples attention so they do stuff for her” he said justifying himself “it not that I don’t take care of her” he completed, before I could say anything we saw his friend “are we going to go” he asked Hamad “yea” answered Hamad then he turned to me and said “I had fun” and smiled “me too” I couldn’t help but blush I don’t know why, I walked back to Maryam and Fatima “I see someone had a good time” said Fatima with a tease “what makes you think that” I answered sharply “the big goofy smile you have” Maryam answered I didn’t notice that I was smiling I quickly frowned “no I didn’t he was rude” I lied “tell us everything” Maryam said I was saved by my mom saying that we have to go, we carried our stuff and headed to eat lunch we were walking when Fatima came beside me bumped my shoulder and said “you know we will eat lunch with them tomorrow” I didn’t know what to say I kept quite “I am personally happy because I will see Marwan” “who is Marwan” I asked “Hamad’s friend he came to ask where you two went and he was charming”
